Park Hyatt Dubai follows the procedures of Lost and Found items within the hotel as referenced by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing dated 10th June 2007.
Law: LM4/D/0000/158/108

The hotel will inform the nearest Police Station or the Operation Room at the following numbers 971 4 2694848 or 971 4 6095555 if finding the following:

- Suspicious or banned substances
- Large amounts of money or valuable jewels

The hotel must hand over precious items found after six months of finding it to the nearest police station. Items must be recorded in the hotel’s log for police inspection (money, gold, jewels, watches, phones, electronic devices and accessories). After six months of keeping found items at the hotel, they should be transferred to the nearest police station with a detailed record approved by the hotel management. Accordingly, the police will take the necessary actions.

In case the guest claimed his/her found item after the set period (6 months) he/she has to go personally to the police station, where his/her item(s) was delivered. The police station will keep the items for three months. The hotel establishment should provide the guest with a letter which state the items found, the reference number and the date of delivering them to the police station.
